"20 Below 20" showcases the diverse talents, energy and contributions of Maine's young people. This program identifies 20 Mainers from ages 13 to 19 who are outstanding in areas of the visual arts, performing arts, technology, community service, civic involvement, and other areas where young people excel. *This program does not include athletics, which are covered by the Maine Sunday Telegram's All State recognition program.

Candy Anderson is a longtime teacher at Catherine McAuley High School.
Catherine Haas is a social worker at Nathan Clifford School, Portland Public Schools, and co-founder of the Multicultural Peer Support Program at the Center for Grieving Children in Portland.
Mike Loughlin is a stay-at-home dad who runs a screen-printing business. He also works as a volunteer with students in Freeport schools.
Louis Philippe is president of Reindeer Records, has been working with
young people for decades and is the longtime organizer of the Rock Off band
competition.
