The Best and Worst Movies in theaters this Summer
Now that the summer movie season has come to a close I have my picks for the top five best and worst films to hit theaters in the past three months.
The Worst
1. The Island - If I may steal a line from Team America "Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies?"
2. Stealth - What drove Jamie Foxx to do this film is way beyond me.
3. Rebound - Martin Laurence just can't act like a trash talking coach when he can't swear. STAY AWAY FROM THOSE PG RATED FILMS, MARTIN!
4. The Dukes of Hazzard - Sadly this was Sean William Scott's best acting job since "Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back (which was a great movie)"
5. Bewitched - Will Ferrell was hilarious, but the story line had major problems.
The Best
5. The Wedding Crashers - had me laughing all the way through and yet left me with the feeling that I learned a vauable life lesson.
4. Batman Begins - What can I say? This movie just kicked total butt. No other way to put it. Batman is by far the best super hero.
3. The 40 Year Old Virgin - The absolute funniest film this year. It will be very hard to beat!
2. Cinderella Man - A terrific film! The boxing films lately have been absolutely amazing.
1. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Tim Burton has done it again! This man is a genius! He can keep bringing back the exact same cast he has worked with for years and turn them into something we have never seen. Only a true artist can do that. And Danny Elfman just blew me away with the restoration of Roald Dahl's Oompa Loompa songs.
Do you agree with what I've said? Disagree? Let me know what you think.
