The Exorcism of Emily Rose
“The Exorcism of Emily Rose” is the new thriller based on the last exorcism that was performed. This exorcism leads to Emily Rose’s death. When the priest who performed the exorcism is accused of homicide a workaholic lawyer takes the case to defend him. This film is definitely worth seeing; however do not listen to the reviews that say it is scarier than “The Exorcist” or “The Omen.”
This is untrue. The film is actually a very interesting court film with a few creepy curve balls thrown in. I would say if it compared to any film, it compares the most with “The Devils Advocate.” I would say that scary wise this film is creepy and the story line is interesting. It is probably the best thriller film of the year. Have a review for this movie? Lets hear it!
UPCOMING FILMS
The sequel to Bruce Almighty has been set and it follows Bruce’s co-worker Evan as he attempts to build an ark for the next great flood. The film stars Steve Carrell and opens in 2006. But what do you think? Will it fly or will it flop like "Dumb and Dumberer" and "Son of the Mask?" Let me know!
There are only two weeks left until the great films of the year begins pouring into box offices. Starting next week with “Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride (which I am looking very forward to), the long awaited film "Wallace and Grommit: The Curse of the Were Rabbit,” and the fourth installment of the Harry Potter films is due in theaters this November. Two films I cannot wait for are “Fun with Dick and Jane” starring Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni and “The Producers” starring Nathan Lane, Matthew Brodrick, and Will Ferrell. Did I leave anything out? Let me know what you are dying to see.
